ABOUT LIONEL MARTELLINI

Lionel Martellini
Professor of Finance at EDHEC Business School
Director of EDHEC-Risk Institute

Professor Martellini is a former member of the faculty at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. He has also taught at U.C. Berkeley and at Princeton University, where he has been a visiting fellow at the Operations Research and Financial Engineering department.

He holds Master’s degrees in management, economics, mathematics and statistics, as well as a PhD in finance from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. Outside of his activities in finance, he recently completed a PhD in Relativistic Astrophysics (University Côte d'Azur).

Professor Martellini is a member of the editorial board of The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Alternative Investments, and The Journal of Retirement. His work related to investment solutions for individual and institutional investors has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals and has been featured in major European and global dailies such as The Economist, The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. He has also launched two digital specialization programs, one on Data Science for Investment Management and one on Climate Finance and Sustainable Investing.

 


ABOUT FRANK FABOZZI

Frank J. Fabozzi is a Professor of Finance at EDHEC Business School and a Senior Scientific Adviser at EDHEC-Risk Institute. He is a trustee of the BlackRock fixed-income fund complex. He is the editor of The Journal of Portfolio Management and co-founder and co-editor of The Journal of Financial Data Science. He is the CFA Institute’s 2007 recipient of the C. Stewart Sheppard Award and the CFA Institute’s 2015 recipient of the James R. Vertin Award.  He was inducted into the Fixed Income Analysts Society Hall of Fame in November 2002. He received his BA and MA in economics in 1970 from The City College of New York where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa  and a PhD in economics in 1972 from the City University of New York. He is earned the designations of CFA and CPA.
